Admissions Terms and Conditions
- Selection Of Candidates should be based on the merit of the entrance examination. Entrance test** shall comprise of:
- Aptitude for Nursing 20 Marks
- Physics 20 Marks
- Chemistry 20 Marks
- Biology 20 Marks
- English 20 Marks
The minimum qualifying marks for the entrance test shall be 50% marks.
**Entrance test shall be conducted by the university/state Government.
- The minimum age for admissions shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admissions are sought. The maximum age limit for admissions shall be 35 years.
- Maximum Educational Qualification
a.) Candidates with science who have qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in physics, chemistry and biology taken together and passed in English individually.
b.) Candidates are also eligible from a state-open school recognized by the state government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by the central government as having science subjects and English only.
c.) English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.S.c (Nursing).
- Color-blind candidates are eligible provided that colour-corrective contact lenses and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
- The candidate shall be medically fit.
- Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
- Students shall be admitted once a year.
