Our Philosophy

College believes that,

  • The nursing profession prepares nurses for position in nursing both in the hospital & community at large. Our concept of nursing is based on the I.C.N’s definition of “The unique function of the nurse that is to assist an individual, sick or well in performance of those activities, contributing to health or its recovery”. It is also based on WHO’s definition that “Health is a complete state of physical, mental, and social well-being & not merely an absence of disease or infirmity”.
  • Scope of nursing practice encompasses provision of preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of care to the people across their life span in any health care setting.
  • Institution believes that learning environment should enable the student to acquire enquiry driven self directed learning and foster an attitude of life long learning.
    • The masters programme in nursing prepares nurses for leadership position in nursing and who can function as nurse specialist, nurse practitioner, nurse consultant, nurse education, nurse administrator & nurse researcher in wide variety of professional settings
    • We provide & promote all-round development of students to prepare a professional nurse who will be contributing as efficient  Citizen and effective “CHANGE AGENT” in an ever changing society.
